WNET13 Upgrades to OSX - LD Staff
Wnet 13 a well know TV channel in NYC (channel 13) has recently engaged LD to upgrade their Job Central management system to OSX compatibility. WNET is one of Job Central's first installs and has been operating with this cutting edge solution suite for over a decade. This upgrade is testimony to the scalability of Job Central.
The new version being installed will not only take advantage of 4D's new OSX native power, but the full suite of functionality and process control that has been developed constantly since their initial install. With the logics of the application's core, the upgrade is streamlined and focus can remain on delivering creative service and not a full reinstall.
Final Cut selects JC - LD Staff
Final Cut, a leading creative group out of NYC, Los Angeles and London has decided on implementing Job Central in their new Los Angeles offices, instead of Xytech. Where Xytech is implemented in their older offices, Final Cut has selected Job Central to be their new direction for the future. Their decision stems from a growing need to coordinate complex work order systems, inventory management and output with the natural process of project management, scheduling and the other workflow elements. They will be interfacing this solution with their accounting applications. Simplicity and the ability to customize the solution to their specific needs were only a couple of the key factors in their decision.
Whirlpool upgrades their JC solution - LD Staff
Whirlpool Corporation recently engaged LD to upgrade their Job central application suite to accommodate the latest in 4D power and more recent Job Central functionality. At the same time a new module was developed enabling them more management capabilities in cost estimating and internal billing of time for their photo department. This upgrade takes full advantage of a new list of functionalities to the core Job Central system. Functionalities that are aimed at increasing productivity, reporting and workflow in complex corporate department environments.
